Direct Radiating Subwoofers
Cutting edge high-power woofers and large rock-solid enclosures in a classic vented direct radiating design provide the natural uncolored sub bass favored by audio professionals around the world.
Wherever audiences and operators demand the ultimate in sub bass performance, the DR18-2R and DRS18-2B subwoofers deliver the emotional impact obtainable only from 18 inch subwoofers.
All DR18-2R subwoofers are RHAON empowered for flexible analog and digital signal distribution and loudspeaker management and control over a standard Ethernet network.
DR18-2R Self-Powered 18″ Subwoofers with integral PM-2LR amplifier and loudspeaker specific signal processing and protection also include RHAON for flexible digital signal distribution, loudspeaker management and control.
DRS18-2B Non-Powered Subwoofers offer the same high performance as the self-powered DR18-2R series only externally powered.
Passive or self-powered and networked, you can choose the system configuration that meets your needs. Select the DRS18-2B when the project dictates the use of external amplifiers and the self-powered DR18-2R for convenience and control in other applications.
The PM-2LR, the heart of the PowerNet DR18-2R is a new kind of intelligent electronic system. It combines Class D digital amplification with RHAON, the Renkus-Heinz Audio Operations Network for comprehensive DSP controlled signal processing and control.
RHAON empowers you with CobraNet digital audio distribution, user configurable DSP for maximum control, remote systems management from any Windows computer, life safety functions and more – all using standard Ethernet hardware and cable.
The PM-2LR has dual analog inputs, dual CobraNet inputs and an AES3 serial input. The onboard DSP is easily configured using RHAON software; it includes eight bands of parametric EQ, high and low shelving filters, delay and input level control. Critical operating parameters such as signal clipping, amplifier output voltage and current, and temperature are continually monitored with automatic alert functions.

Orders placed though the Amber Technology website are despatched from our Sydney warehouse. Orders placed before 1.00pm Sydney time (for items in stock) will generally be shipped on the same day.
We ship using Startrack Express. We deliver Australia-wide to residential, business and PO box addresses.
Shipping is free for all orders over $275 including GST (effective 1 March 2018). There is a $22 (including GST) shipping and handling charge for all orders under $275 including GST.

Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.
All items purchased from Amber Technology will be covered under warranty. The duration and terms of this warranty are specified by the manufacturer unless otherwise stated. Warranty information is available on the individual product listings on this site.
Refurbished items will include a 12 month warranty unless otherwise stated.Please contact us if you have received an item which has been damaged in transit or is otherwise not working correctly when you receive it. Subject to availability, we will arrange for a replacement item to be despatched and for the faulty item to be returned to us.
Amber Technology maintains a nation-wide network of carefully selected Authorised Service Agents to ensure that you are never far from convenient, expert technical and service support. If your item develops a problem and requires servicing under warranty, please contact your local Authorised Service Agent.
The availability of stock is communicated via the indicator of each product listing page. "Available" means that reasonable stock is in our warehouse, ready for immediate shipment. "Limited Stock" means that we have only a small number of items in stock. "Out of Stock" means this item is currently unavailable for immediate shipment - orders placed for ‘Out of Stock’ items will be fulfilled as soon as replacement stock arrives.
"Special Order” items are products that are not generally kept in stock in Australia. Lead times for Special Order items vary depending on country of origin, manufacturer’s stock levels, factory production schedules and/or incoming shipment transit times. Please contact us for an estimate as to the likely lead time. Please note that finalized sales for special order items cannot be cancelled.
If refurbished stock is available, this will be shown on the summary page for the product. If a product listing only allows you to choose refurbished stock, we are not holding new stock and we can no longer obtain new stock.
